Attorney Jeff Friesen of our office was assigned to a case in which a private health insurance company made claims against our client under the HIMP program totaling  $420,370.80. Jeff disputed the claims, arguing that the claims were untimely and furthermore that the treatment in issue was not related to our client’s workers compensation case. Jeff was then able to negotiate with the private insurance company for a payment of only $25,893.00, avoiding litigation and saving our client $394,477.61.
