With electronic filing of RFA-2s now in place, defense firms must be listed as a party of interest (“POI”) to file them on behalf of the insurance carrier self-insured employer, and administrator. At your request, Hamberger & Weiss is willing to be added as a POI for future handling of RFA-2s.

If you would like Hamberger & Weiss to be listed as a POI, please notify our office before adding us to any claim. Because POI status will cause our office to receive Board mail in each file, our policy is that we will take no action upon receipt of any Board mail, regardless of its content. This includes, for example, reviewing Board decisions, directions, claimant or counsel requests, or similar correspondence. The carrier remains responsible for contacting our office whenever legal work is needed during the pendency of the claim.
