Wendy Hauck

Wendy Hauck has more than a decade of experience in New York Workers’ Compensation Law both as a defense attorney and as a claimant’s attorney representing injured workers. Her experience on both side of the table a uniquely comprehensive perspective to her practice.

Wendy returns to Hamberger & Weiss LLP after first practicing here from 2010 to 2014. She handles all stages of workers’ compensation claim defense from claim inception to closure. Her proficiency extends from devising legal strategies, navigating discovery processes, conducting trials, to orchestrating settlement negotiations. Throughout, she has demonstrated a thorough approach from the referral to closure of each case, ensuring diligent and comprehensive representation for her clients.

Before her beginning her career as a workers’ compensation attorney, Wendy was a legal content associate for Thomson Reuters, where she was entrusted with maintaining the relevance and accuracy of the Employment Coordinator and Discrimination Coordinator reference volumes, meticulously verifying and updating state and federal law citations and content.

Wendy received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from St. Lawrence University in 2006. She graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2009. In law school, Wendy was an Associate Editor of the Buffalo Women’s Law Journal, Secretary of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Associates, Co-President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition
